I've used a 650 for 3-4 years with no case feeder due mainly to lack of space where I mounted it. I changed the case tube to a longer one by buying a longer piece of clear tubing on line. I have no complaints about the priming system on mine and I can't say enough good things about Dillon's Customer Service. I had a primer explosion caused by me jamming the handle when I had a primer jam up the press. (the only time I've had a priming problem with probably 10k rounds). It messed up a lot of stuff. About 75 primers going off at once is quite the bang. Thank goodness for the steel tube around the primer feeding tube or I would have probably been injured. I called Dillon and told them what happened and told them up front I felt it was totally my fault. Should have cleared the jam instead of ramming the lever. They went through everything with me over the phone asking all kinds of questions and the entire time the rep was making a list of what parts he thought I would need and also added a few things that he said I might need but wasn't sure. By their parts prices it was several hundred dollars in parts and I was planning on paying every dime since it was no fault of theirs. He shipped everything the same day at NO CHARGE and refused to charge me. Ended the conversation by saying he was glad no one was hurt. When the parts came in, per his instructions, I called and they stayed on the phone with me close to an hour going through the installation and adjusting until I was cranking out bullets again. What more can you ask for? Since that point, I buy things like ammo boxes and other accessories from Dillon that I could probably buy a little cheaper elsewhere but service means a lot to me and the way they replaced the parts for free and spent so much time making sure I was up and running again made be a Dillon fan for life. How many other companies would refuse to take money for warranty parts when the customer admits he cause the breakage and offered up front to pay? I just can't imagine anyone at Dillon getting any kind of attitude unless it was thrown at them first and then I would still be surprised from my experiences.
