Two questions about the Gen 5 model 19:
1) Does it have the "Glock hump" in the lower rear part of the stock, like the Gen 3's had. I have a Gen 3 model 19, so of course it has the hump in the lower rear part of the grip. I am told that the Gen 4's did away with that, and my Gen 4 model 26 indeed has no hump.
I was in a gun shop today and tried the Gen 5 model 19 in my hand. The salesman said the Gen 5's do have the hump in the rear, similar to the Gen 3's. I couldn't quite tell myself, because the hump seemed to feel a bit less prominent.
2) I've been in two shops, and in one shop, the Gen 5 model 19 had the mag cutout in the front, and in the other, it did not. The guy in the second shop told me that Glock had stopped putting the cutout in the grip in new production models. But I have also heard the opposite -- that Glock had STARTED to put the cutout in the grip in the newer production models.
Any factual answers to both questions would be appreciated. Thanks
