i would assume that all these requests for the 40s&w would be chambered for the 10mm right?

The Smith & Wesson 547 in 3" and 4" barrels. Maybe in stainless steel as well.
Also a Smith & Wesson 942.

A five screw Highway Patrolman with a three inch barrel, hard chromed, with a round butt, and in 10 Mil with moon clips....

I'll play...

I've got a few

GP100, 4", Stainless 10mm

Ruger Super Redhawk/Redhawk hybrid, 4", Stainless in .44 magnum
This gun would have the super redhawk grips, the super redhawk two-spring trigger mechanism, but the rest of the gun would look like a Rehawk.

A S&W Model 29 blued .44 magnum in 6 inch.
S&W model 629 stainless .44 magnum in 6 inch.

I'm thinking a j-frame from S&W chambered for .327 Mag. Rather than adding a sixth round; shrink the cylinder as small as possible to fit 5 of the .327s then shrink the frame to meet the size of the new cylinder; probably keep the grip the same size. Go with a 2" barrel and the same sight system as the m&p 340. I imagine the smaller frame would bring it in around 10-11oz. Concealed carry obviously; easier to pocket and the cylinder wouldn't be so wide. Name? the .32s they have are 432? maybe M&P 330. that would match the nomenclature between the 442/642 and 340.

I just wish I had gotten in line to have my Python tuned up by Jerry Moran sooner. He quit gunsmithing while I was on the waiting list. Not that my Tedford (Colt Custom Shop) and Reeves Junkind guns are not nice; just that Moran had the best reputation.

Model 19 Combat Magnum 5" barrel, nickel plated with a round butt...

...or if they ever make python's again for under $1k - that would be awful nice as well (hey a guy can dream, can't he?)

Dream revolver?
I remember shortly before they were released, I was complaining to a friend that someone needed to make a .357 or 10mm combat revolver with an 8+ cartridge capacity, 4" barrel, an under-barrel accessory rail, & an OAL less than 10" (preferrably 9-8").
Smith & Wesson has already made mine; the Model 327 TRR8.

1. An 8 shot S&W N frame wih a 5" tapered barrel chambered in .357 Maximum

2. An S&W 657 .41 Magnum Mountain gun with a 5" barrel

I think my ultimate revolver would be something like a Colt Kodiak but made by Ruger. It would be essentially a .44 Magnum Redhawk with a 6" ported full lug barrel (in Maryland that's the shortest you can hunt deer with), unfluted cylinder (because it looks cool), Pachmayr grips with a nice colored Ruger emblem, bead blasted finish on stainless, and maybe HiViz fiber optic front site.

I guess you could say I just want a Kodiak? BUT Colt is out of the DA business, so screw them! Plus the Kodiak is just too shiny for hunting and we all know Ruger makes 'em sturdy.

Also, I guess I'd like my name engraved on the barrel instead of any stupid safety warnings about reading the manual before operating it. I want the deer to know who's wall his head is going to be hanging on.

I am content with .357 in the SP101, but would like to see it offered in that chambering with a 4" or 5" barrel, with adjustable sights.

I saw mention of bigger-bore SP101s. Well, the Super Redhawk Alaskan exists, and the smaller GP100 grip can be used to replace that huge Hogue grip.

I'd liketo see Smith&Wesson bring back the model 17 (With 4-inch,3,and 2-inch barrels),also the 9mm version of the model 10 (with adjustable sights),4-inch and 3-inch Barrels.

I'll take a Ruger 50th 'flat top' .357 in stainless. And as long as we are "wishing", make it in .44Spl too.
