How did the victim take it? Was she upset about the gun, mad about being robbed, thankful? Inquiring minds want to know.

You should get your money back... clearly the violent videogame is not working and making you develop a bloodlust for killing innocent people, and going trigger happy on the strong-arm robber.

Robbery is crime against a person, and could trigger a lethal force response.

good job helping a neighbor out. You did right in goiong back to your neighbor, Following, shooting, etc. would have landed you in a unsanitary tributary with an inadequate floatation device. Besides the threat was gone and your neighbor could have need immediate assistance.

i worry about home invasion

and

i know of at least one example where, upon opening his door, a friend of mine had a pit bull from across the hall run into his house and immediately attack his cat,

evidently the adrenaline rush allowed him to subdue the dog physically and somewhat rescue the already damaged cat.

we asked him why he didnt pull out his 9mm and shoot the dog,,,

answer,,, it was locked up in the safe...

so you really never know when you might need a gun, even in your own home, sad to say.

oh, he got in trouble with the condo association for physically abusing the dog, if you can believe that one...
