Ohh lord!! This is a tough call....

I LOVE my 7.62 Tokarev that has been cleaned up to function like a current production 1911 and with a custom compensator on it. It shoots soooo flat and smooth!!!

But, I loved my Smith and Wesson M&P .22 compact as well. It is soo fun to just run it as fast as you can and not have to worry about ammo cost. It is SUPER accurate and eats anything I feed it!

Though my biggest love will always be with my Glock 19. It just fits my hand perfect and shoots great. With her Trijicon HD sights it is hard to miss what you are shooting at.

Do I really have to just pick one? Or can I go with woman's prerogative and stick with all 3 as my favorites? :p

I'd like to say my Colt NM 45 but 45 ammo is soooo expensive, I'll have to say my Steyr M9-A1. Feels good in my hand and easy to shoot. The funky sights get your attention.

Cheers

Browning Buckmark with a holographic sight. But my (Uberti) Remington 1875 is giving it a run for its money ( I've only had it out once so far)

I'm not sure I can pick a favorite.

My first gun was a Ruger P345 so, even though it isn't anything special, I really enjoy shooting it. I also love the feel and sound of the .45 ACP round. I have other .45s now, but the old Ruger is still a favorite.

I also love my Sig Trailside because it makes me look like a better shooter than I am (which isn't that hard, since I'm not that good) and looks good doing it.

I have some "higher end" guns, but I always seem to come back to those two as my favorites.

I am CERTAIN it isn't my DoubleTap .45! I keep that around simply as a torture device.

The S&W 2206/.22 is always a fun shoot but a mixed bag. I don't bring it out as often due to the dwindling .22 supply. :( (That hampers the .22 rifles as well.)

Lately been having fun with the HK P2000. All in cycles so no particular #1 favorite.

My first real gun was a Glock 19, so I learned on a Glock. I'm probably best with a Glock 17.

Till now, my favorite has been my H&K P30 9mm. I love the trigger and ergonomics and I shoot it well. That being said. I just picked up my new baby yesterday, Sig Stainless Steel P226 Elite and something tells me she may be giving my P30 some serious competition.

Another 1911 vote....

But I put mine together myself. I bought a bare armscor frame, slide kit, and builders kit from SARCO and started filing and polishing. I ended up dumping most of the fire control parts in the SARCO kit and using Ed Brown parts. I also radiused the frame and put on an Ed Brown beavertail grip safety. Wears a home made set of cocobolo grips which are a little on the smooth side but I still shoot it better than any of my other guns.
Its not the tightest and the cold blue finish isn't that great but of the pistols I own I shoot it the best.

Ruger Mk 1 Target or Mk2 512. By far my favorites to shoot and always a lot of fun.

I still like my hi power clone as my go-to defensive piece but nothing compares to my Rugers.

I don't have one anymore, I need to correct that, but it WAS a Ruger MK III, with a 4" bull barrel, and a red dot sight. Booringly accurate. It was a matter of get in the groove and shoot the X out of the target.

That I've got now? Smith & Wesson's Model 15-2 in 38 Special, TG, TH, TT, TS. A little lighter, better balanced, more svelte than it's cousin the Model 19, it's just a delight to shoot at the range.

The Model 19 is not far behind though.

This is my favorite. It just shoots great, and looks great too:

Tanfoglio "Mossad" (TA/90) full sized..

Amazing slide to frame fit, and it has one of the best DA triggers I've seen on a non custom CZ type pistol.

The .32 automatic Colt pistol cartridge is disdained by some but I find it to be especially fun to shoot in the 1903 Colt hammerless. Thin, slab sided, balance and just feels good. No slouch on accuracy either. If it is good enough to issue to the general officers of the US Army and the OSS, I'll take one any day.

I enjoy em all. But the most nostalgic is when an old fart 70 year old guy gets a chance to shoot his dad's S&W Kframe .22 target revolver. Miss that guy.
