Firearm record at FFL on transfer

Remember, I'm a home based dealer who does only does Title I transfers and sells silencers. Academy/Bass Pro/Cabelas/etc will have more Denials in a week than I will in a year. Brick & mortar storefronts will have more than a few people test the system because they don't pay if they don't pass. My customers have already paid for the gun.

But, those are both important data points for considering how this works as a system.

The NICS database has around eleven million entries (IIRC) which is only about 3-4% of the US population. but is still a staggering amount of data.

We get 2 or 3 per year.

I use to get quite a few denial when I had my Type 2 Pawn FFL. I would also run the NICS check when receiving a firearm for pawn depending on the customer.
