No. The reason that rifle has paint coming off of it, is because $1.99 @ can Krylon is for lawn furniture and kids doll houses.... Not guns.

BTW, where can I get these cans of Krylon for $1.99? I need to repaint a couple rifles.

So much hand wringing, and gnashing of teeth!
I get the frustration of not being able to get what is desired cheaply, or easily.
I don't get the personal affront taken that companies offer what folks want to buy, or that people desires have changed over the years.

You see trends change with all kindsa stuff.
Personally I think the matte black, or gloss desert tan, cars and trucks are ugly as all get out. If that sells, and people want it, go for it....I'm ok with being the odd man out.
When I can afford to buy my carbon fiber paneled supercar, or 50k dollar Tacoma, I'll paint it any color I want.

Again, I've got no issue with griping about the lack/cost, but you DO HAVE options.
If you chose to avail yourself of them, or not, well that's on you.

I'll continue to shoot my painted and wood, stainless and carbon, shiny scope or matte....what evers, and enjoy.

Screw the deer, I like purty guns. Gimme shiny walnut, deeeeeeepp blue, and a glossy scope. Plenty of ugly rifles in the safe to shoot deer with.
