Am I the only one wishing he was clubbed to death by a soccer mom and two elderly women?

We now have to think of others before we say or do something unless we want to find ourselves in unpleasant situation.

Yeah, it's called civilized society.

The Fireman did no wrong.
I'm not some tactical operator.
I carry.
If I turned a corner with my kids and saw this pile of excrement in the pillow aisle fiddling with an AR I would not have thought "publicity stunt".
I would have though "Dear God! Not my kids!" and he may be dead today. And My life ruined, just so he can get some likes on u_tub.

That snot nosed little terrorist should be in jail.

Did he talk to anyone about fireams rights? Did he alert humans that he was there to protect them, or exercise his rights?

No?

Then it was all for shock. And that is terrorism.

I agree with Tarosean. No one notices a holstered pistol. It is normal. And, holstered, is not threatening.
He would have been just as out of place if he had a pump deer rifle, or shotgun.

Stupidity should hurt. I don't think he's had enough yet...

Listen, the way he was dressed etc is not normal open carry. Normal open carry is a handgun outside your clothes but in a holster. In the US people do not go around with a long gun, even in a sling, and body armor.

We should all dress the way society expects us to. We need to pay attention how our mufflers sound too. We would not want any more stampedes like the one that occured in Times Square.

The guy was an idiot. The fireman had reasonable doubt that he was threat and acted reasonably. You can have RKBA hissy fits all you want. If a guy like that walked towards the school bus dropping off kids - including yours - aren't you a touch suspicious? Guy like that walks up and into to your church? You just going to wait for an angel to materialize?

If the firearm shot him, how many on the jury would acquit on reasonable doubt? Or would you say since I support the RKBA, I thus send the firearm to jail?

The Fireman did have courage, I give him that. I would exit that store asap. I'm a coward.

Regarding dressing, when you sling a rifle over your shoulder and head out into public, you are shouldering (pun intended) a great responsibility. That goes to how you dress and act. If you don’t believe carrying a firearm in public adds a different level of responsibility, then perhaps you shouldn’t carry one.

Regarding mufflers, yes, you’re right, we should pay attention to how they sound. There are noise laws in most states regulating the amount of noise that is acceptable.
