Guess gun shops are "essential businesses" that need to stay open during a pandemic as the police cannot and are not legally obligated to always be there to protect you. Not saying this guy just bought his gun but it certainly could have been a situation where he had. .....or her.

LEO can't be everywhere all the time at any time, not just now. First line of defense is YOU, followed by LEO..If somebody threatens me and mine, not smart to 'rely' on LEO, particularly since ya gotta call them.
