Reading through the new catalog on the Hornady website I saw that now the polymer tipped 160 gr spitzer bullet for the 30-30 are finally sold to reloaders.
I called Customer Service and they told me that they will soon introduce a .30 cal 150 gr. polymer tipped bullet and a heavier than 160 gr. (the technician didn't specified the weight, they must have figured out the COL issue for the 30-30)
They will be available both as bullet and as load.
The good old 30 WCF looks like it's experiencing a second youth.
I suspect it will be among us still for very very long time.
