I've been conversing with Hakan for the last month or so about a set of grips for the 1911.

This is the product of our little talk.

I'm not sure if pictures do these grips justice but here they are on a Kimber Custom II Target.

Here is the other side. I also wanted to say that he was very pleasant to work with.

Thanks
Hakan

Everyone else enjoy!!!

Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag!

Here's my Valtro with Hakan's GORGEOUS 1911 grips in flame birch:

These grips are extraordinarily thin.

You're lucky. when I wanted some for my 1911, he'd not started doing them yet. Now I've got both my 1911s very well gripped (Gunner Grip & Alumagrip) so I'll have to be happy with the Hakan's on my CZ:cool:

I just got a set of grips from Hakan, they were well worth the wait (not to mention he's a very nice guy to deal with). Actually, I posted this on the CZ Forum.....Hakan deserves all the exposure he can get.

Those 1911 grips are sweet

Sigh....

I cannot save any money with this hobby..I have found another "must have".

Disclaimer: I'm Hakan's webmaster and an unabashed fan. ;)

That said, Hakan is THE MAN. He's one of the few people who still makes his products one at a time, by hand. The woods he uses are gorgeous, and his customer service is top notch.

Today I hit the range with my CZ 75B with the Kadet .22LR upper and Hakan's stocks:

Suffice it to say, when people stop by my lane, this gun is the first (and often last) they ask about - I swear, it's the Hakan stocks.

They are more comfortable than the Hogue wrap-around grip I used to use.

What more can I say? GET A GRIP.

Hello. Here are the Hakan Pek grips on my '70's Gov't Model. Note that while part of the stocks are smooth, the stippling does meet the fingers. The grip felt plenty secure. Fit is just fine.

For some reason I cant get into the way the textured part of the wood looks....

But those flame birch ones are the friggin poo!

Absolutely awesome looking.
