Have you given away anything gun related recently?

Pentagram is supposed to be a mark of the devil. Like a cross is a mark of Christianity. Good vs evil thing. Most folks don't pay no mind to such unless they are Christians.

Gave the little LCP II .22 I picked up a few weeks ago to my mother-in-law along with a 250rd box of Aquila HV.

Gave my dad a Galco VHawk holster for his 1911. Not that he'll ever carry it, but I firmly believe every handgun must have a holster.

Tried to give the new-to-me purple Taurus G2C to mama for Valentine's day. She declined it, so I guess I'm headed out shopping in a bit. Just when I thought I was getting off cheap dammit.

Had my "brother from another mother" over the other day for coffee. I wanted him to know that he and his two boys will be in my Will and why. I want the boys to pick one each for themselves. Since the boys are in college they will be coming over to make their choice of which one they will want. That way it can free me up as to which will get sold.
Their dad will be getting my first rifle, a Remington 512 .22 as well as my late father-in law's Winchester 69 .22. Doesn't sound like much but he knows my reasons.
Not so much "giving away" as passing them on...

Gave a 505 scale and a RCBS powder drop with Micro-Adjuster...to a young kid, just starting out...funny how the most cherished tool's that I reload with are the ones that were either given to, or sold to me on the cheap...some strangers', some friends'...but all passing it forward...so I will do the same...the freedom of gun ownership was paid for in blood...it is the very least I can do, to pass the torch, in any small way, to the next generation.

A friend of mine is very "inspector gadgets" like when it comes to electronic technologies, as well as a shooting enthusiast. I gave him a HD gun camera of some type that I got in a swag bag after a match a few years back. I would have never used and and the complexities were probably far beyond me anyway.

A friend of mine who supplies outdoor/shooting accessories gives me odds and ends that are old stock ....I give away a fair percentage to mates , its good to make folks smile !

My nephews helped me move the heavy stuff this weekend, gave my old Mini 14 and a box of mags to one and a 12 gauge semi to another, the third had been recently gifted a nice rifle, so ........

Made room in the safe, hmm...........but I'm being good. :)

I gave a carry gun to my daughter, who sells real estate, and a rimfire pistol to my son. A box of 30-30 went to a friend when there were none to be found on shelves. 6mm bullets went to another friend. Brother got some 9mm and 22LR. Dad's old double went to my brother, and I have a couple small 22 bolt rifles that will go to the first grandchild or friend's child who shows an interest. I have given a couple guns to a nephew, but he now lives in a dorm so I am holding them for him. I plan to give them all away eventually, but only to friends and family who I know will enjoy them.

Given away? No. Put on 'long term loan' to a buddy? Sure, a couple of .22s that I wasn't likely to shoot any time soon.

Several years ago gave son-in-law a nice S&W Model 15. This year our daughter got him his first rifle, a Savage Axis in 7mm-08 Remington. Been loading a bunch of 38 Special and now 7mm-08 Remington. The kids were up this past weekend and I went over his new rifle with him. Looking down the road I have an old Lee O Press I figure I'll give the kid and get him started with reloading so he can roll his own. Gave my son a brick of 22 LR when they were hard to find. That made for a fun range day for him and one of his friends. At my age I likely have enough "stuff" to last me to the grave so I may as well give the kids and good friends a little help. :)

Took a newbie to the range on Tuesday. Contributed two hours of my time and 150 rounds of various ammo to the effort. We shot a Browning Buckmark, 4-inch Ruger GP100, 2.25-inch SP101, Glock 48, Kahr P9, and a Ruger LCP, in that order. For the revolvers I had plinkers loaded with Trailboss, .38 Special loads with Unique, and full bore .357 magnum loads with 2400. Spent lots of time on fundamentals of grip, sighting, trigger control, etc. Our target was at 8 yards, and by the time we were done, he was grouping pretty well with the Kahr.

Bonus. Someone who used the outdoor tactical bay before we did left 250 or so 9mm cases there which I happily retrieved. :)

I gave my oldest son a Ruger Red Label 12ga. Hi-Point 9mm, S&W SD9VE 9mm, Ruger 10/22 lots of 22 ammo and 9mm ammo along with several boxes of 12ga ammo. Also a custom 8mm Mauser built by my grandfather for my dad in 1963. A Ruger American Rifle in 243. Both with ammo.

Gave my youngest son a S&W model 915, Marlin model 60, Winchester 1300 20ga shotgun, 7mm Mauser custom 98 Mauser built by my grandfather and ammo for all of them. Also a Rossi pump 22 with 16" barrel.

I sold 9 guns for my bud on GB and for doing that he gave me 4500 209 primers and 3500 small pistol primers. Some BP and an RCBS powder dumper. And much to my surprise a Remington model 870 12 ga and a brand new Marlin model 60 that doesn't have 200 rounds through it.

I gave another friend 3 cans of #11 caps and 2 pounds of BP.

I guess what goes around comes around.
