Have you given away anything gun related recently?

I'm sorry.
I don't think he is marrying your other sister.
Nice of you!

Current brother-in-law. My wife’s brother. I was going to use this gun-giveaway idea to thin down the herd and get rid of the guns I don’t like all that much. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any, so I had to find a new one. I did find that Canik triggers really are pretty good for striker guns.

A 1st or second year issue Walther P22 with the olive drab body , Walther laser and longer barrel weighted compensator. Gave it to one of my best friends.

It was at his house years before while we were shooting that the P22s slide broke in half cross ways and came back and hit another friend in the forehead. No serious injury resulted and no blood was shed.

I called Walther, they sent a new slide, some additional front sight inserts and a fist full of company logo stickers and all was good.

Fast forward about 5 weeks ago and that friend said he wanted to get a .22 pistol for the wife to plink with on their hobby farm. Told him I had just the gun.

Truth be told I was glad to see it go. Fun little plinker but it just never looked right between the Single 6 and 617. I think the reason I bought it was because I have a weakness for all things olive drab.

Was at the range yesterday with Alan, Troy fairweathers dad, there were 4 other guys there when we arrived. A young man, 19 yo, was shooting a new 22 lr semi auto using rem Golden tips. Gave him a handful of federal automatch to try out. He asked if they were any good. Said I don't know I've never used them, but afterwards he said they shot 2 in at 100 yds in his gun and is buying more. Let the same young man shoot my 243 win. He got a first shot cold bore hit at 300eters. Said he liked it better than his mossberg map in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Buddy of mine is going to watch the house and dogs while we travel to a wedding and a funeral over the next 10 days.
Giving him 100 new rounds of 6mmBR Norma brass, 2 lbs of IMR4350 and 1000 209 shotgun primers. Plus full use of my loading bench, tools and supplies. Fridge, freezer and cabinets are stocked with everything to eat or drink. All I ask is that he pet the dogs, feed 'em and pick up their droppings.
And don't let the house burn down!

Took my granddaughter and her noyfriend to range yesterday. She fired the 243 win m11 savage I bought for her for the first time. She loved it and took it home with her along with the military type sling, Harris swivel bipod, cmp hard side gun case, 2 trigger locks, some 100 gr reloads, and her range membership card.

Was a great day as she hit her first second and third steel plates ar 300 meters. Now to get her hunting license for this fall.

Sending an older but like new in the box Kydex holster to a member on here who recently got a new pistol that will fit perfectly in this holster.

I originally bought it years ago to give to a friend of mine. Only problem was his gun had a rail on it and the holster wasn't designed for one. So when a member here came into a like new but older pistol that this holster would work with, I contacted him and he said he would take it!

Win/Win as I finally get to gift this holster away and someone will get some real use out of it!
