Ok, wizards, does anyone know what this .22 LR mag goes to? I found it in a box of misc old mags in my garage and it has me and my buddies stumped. The triangular shape is not something I’ve seen before in a (presumably) .22 rifle mag.
Mossberg. Not sure which one. That weird little doohickey on top allows it to be configured to fit different flavors of .22 cartridges: Short, Long, and Long Rifle.
Probably not, but you could easily sell it on one of the auction sites if it's 100% intact and functioning, especially the adjustment doohickey. Aftermarket magazines for these long-discontinued rifles seem to come only in 10-round configuration and with no doohickey. There are plenty of Mossberg collectors out there scouting the Internet for the original mags.
