Okay there's some threads here and there which sort of address this, but I'm trying to argue an important point with someone who is worth arguing with.
I want to show how the the various so called "assault weapons" bans are only about aesthetics and not what the gun itself is capable of, that the distinction between "Good" and "Bad" firearms is an arbitrary one, and merely a tool for those who wish to ban all firearms.
I have chosen the Ruger 10/22 as my subject because I know I'll get lots of leads, and .22 caliber rifles are ubiquitous and thought of as "harmless" by the subject. I am looking for links and pics of 10/22s which look "bad" but are really just a barrel, action, and receiver set in different furniture, or something along those lines.
Thanks in advance.
