Hiviz Xcoil recoil pad modifications

Good evening. I have had the Xcoil on my 590A1 for a few years now but recently bought the Houge 12" lop short stock. I would like to install my Xcoil on the Houge stock however it is longer than the stock. I would rather not have to buy another recoil pad.

Is there any way I could trim down the Xcoil to fit the Houge 12" lop short stock?

Screw holes dont match up. Looks like I'll be buying a new pad. Figured I'd just cut it but yeah oh well
