HK, Glock, XD and CZ

I went shooting with a friend the other day. I took my HK USP .40c the G19 and the XD45 Compact...

My friend loved the XD but not the Glock... the XD felt better to him. He did not like th HK... The LEM trigger threw him off.

It was my first time shooting the HK... the trigger threw me off too... Kept shooting low because of the trigger pull. Anyone have some advice on the HK? School me please. I think the HK is an awesome firearm, but has more recoil than the XD 45.

I have the Tru Glo sights on the G19. I like that gun, I just think I must be shooting it wrong.. or I don't have the sight picture.... It seems like I have to put the front sight above where I want it to hit.. If I box the sight in it will shoot low.. steady hand, not dropping on trigger pull... at least I think not. Any ideas?

CZ... VERY accurate! Nice gun... I prefer a Beretta 92F to the CZ... but for the price you cannot beat the CZ. I probably should look at the CZ line more.

IMHO,

You need to pick one and put the rest away for a while. If you want to get goo, practice with one until you master it. Then have fun with the others. With all those different grips and trigger pulls, how do you expect to get the feel of the weapon?

IMO, it's not the firearm, it's the caliber. I just don't like the 40 cal. I am a big fan of HK products & I know the LEM is a nice trigger system that may require more trigger time to get used to by some but once you do...it's awesome

I own all HK in 9, 40, and 45, including LEM.

Yeah, you are right. I need to pick one and stick to it.. get it mastered. I need to go shoot once a week at least... I just work too much.

Getting use to the LEM trigger would be the first thing. Caliber/Shooter... I shoot rather well with the XD 45 than with the HK.40 = Shooter LEM trigger learning curve.

I liked the Glock 19 better than the XD at first... the XD is growning on me though. I am still torn between the two. I don't want a Glock in 45ACP, but I love the XD in 45. Glock wish list.. G34, 35, 27. An XD in 9 and .40 would be nice too. I think I will enjoy what I have for now and get into reloading eventually.

Now, when looking through the sights.... shouldn't the front and rear line up and be even? Am I missing something here?
