Over 100. More than I need but less than I want. :p

I have NFA controlled items. I'm way past caring what they know and don't know. If you've filled out a 4473 and think you've somehow avoided being on whatever list you're afraid of being on, you're deluding yourself.
I just got 2 NFA items in yesterday! Once you go NFA they pretty much know your DNA

Over 100!!! that’s what I’m talking about.

I don't even have an idea about how many I've owned over the years, at one time, I know it was over 100. About a 75/25 split revolver to semi's. That was when I fancied myself as a "collector".

These days? Even counting one on layaway now, I'm at less than a dozen. If the ATF is interested, I'm sure they can find the pictures online. Like they've never seen one before. I even had a C&R at one time, so they know me. We always got along just fine.

I keep telling myself, I need to stop buying them, but something else always turns up.

A picture? Here's one I don't think I've posted here before.

1951 Smith and Wesson M&P 38, 6" barrel. Very likely unfired since it left the factory (until I got it), and the box it came in. All the numbers match, including the box.

WoW that box is different!

Not as big as Jeff Olson's or CraigC's but not for lack of trying. I had some classic S&Ws, but took a hiatus in the '90s from collecting, sold/traded a few, and have basically started over. Got some nice old and new Colt's, some nice old Smiths, wishing I had my two nice old Rugers back,

My goal is to accumulate some quality Colt SAAs (and clones) over the next few years. Have to travel a bit from here to get into CAS, but that is something I've always wanted to try,

DaveT got a little prickly, eh? Since we're all posting on this forum, pretty sure all of us have some guns.

What I'm into these days:

1963 Colt SAA .357 at the Honey Hole shop. $1600 right now. Don’t know the condition. I’ll take a look later if it’s still there

@Mark_Mark that’s a nice looking Colt. Is the cylinder and grip frame stainless or nickel plated?
By the way, have you tried Renaissance Wax on your guns? It makes bluing look great and it keeps shiny stuff shiny.
Like resizing wax? I have imperial wax that I use for resizing cases

Cylinder I’m confident it’s Stainless but the frame is either Silver or Nickel. It very deep plating

Like resizing wax?
No. It’s a wax museums use on metal displays like guns and swords and such. It’s really good stuff. It makes bluing look fantastic. It’s not a polishing compound. It is a wax. It dries hard after polishing. It does not flake. This stuff would make your Colt look amazing.
This little container goes a long way.

How big is your Revolver collection and how long did it take you?

Share photos if you care!!!
Had to count them up.

From a minimum of 1 in the late '80s to now. 4 Tauri, 2 S&Ws, 1 Ruger. Oh, yeah, Charter .44 Bulldog. Most acquired in the last decade.

--edit to add---

Things started to ramp up when I got my first snubby, 2008-ish. Then another, and another...
