When you pay your five grand and wait three years, you can have the lanyard done however you like.

This is what I don't understand. If you want a Ruger to be transformed to look like a S&W M1917, why not simply buy a S&W M1917? Or buy a Ruger and a S&W. Together, they would cost a fraction of this custom job. Plus you wouldn't have to wait. What is the resale value of something like this?

I'm almost 4 months into a wait for an adjustable rear sight for an N-Frame. Bowen is the rear sight for competition shooters. Expensive and you wait.

Bowen stopped by my LGS (of course when I wasn't there) and my bud said he's a super cool/nice guy.
I'd like to have one of his .256 win K frames.

They are as you say very pleasant, can't deny that.

I like the lanyard. Makes me think of times that you may need that rugged pistol tied to yourself. Rugged adventures i assume

Lanyards were originally used as a supplemental aiming aid. The “dont lose your gun” thing was an important perk.
