I either EDC my Benchmade 530 Pardue (most common)

or my Benchmade 525 Mini-Presidio

or somtime I slum it with my Red Class BM 10300 Monochrome

My EDC is a Spyderco Delica non serrated clipped to my left side pocket. Depending on my mood I either carry one of the original Benchmade AFCK's or a newer Spyderco Military. I always have a swiss tool on my belt.

Two

Spyderco Endura in the right hand pocket, and a Victorinox Tinker in the left.

I don't go anywhere without the SAK.

EDC: Swiss Army 'Hunter".

While hunting? Three knives and a saw. Swiss Army Hunter, a Cold Steel Tanto, and a Wyoming Knife (and likely a spare blade)

I won't bore you all with details about exactly where I carry, but:

I usually carry a large lockback or a fixed-blade (four-inch drop-point). Lately, though, I've also been carrying the latest in tactical super-knives, the Case Scout Knife.

Usually I carry two . . .

A right pocket knife clipped to my pocket. Today a Benchmade 942 . . .

And a left pocket knife usually in the pocket. Today a Henckels whittler in blue . . .

Each has their assigned duties :)

I generally carry only one knife, and that is a Kershaw Vapor, which is of course a Ken Onion knife. I friggin' love this knife! It was 29.95 at wally-world, and I have carried it for probably around 2 years or so now. It does not have assisted opening like some of the other Kershaws, but I can get it open plenty fast without it. I am pretty picky about what knives I will buy and/or carry, and I gotta say over the last few years, Kershaw has really impressed me with thier products and thier prices. In order, since 1990 when I started carrying a knife, I have carried 1 Buck knife, which I ditched in favor of a Spyderco because it had a pocketclip. I then went through about 7 or 8 Spydercos, not because they are bad but because that many either got lost or stolen (I was in the USMC at the time). Then I went back to Buck, and carried the same Buck knife for probably 4 years before it entered never-never land. Moved to CRKT, and while I like and still own the knife, I have found that I am not that big a fan of the tanto tip for everyday use. Bought a small Gerber, which I still carry on occasion, actually, and then this Kershaw. Those are jus pocketknives. In the Field I carry a Buck that I have had since I was a kid, and in the Marines I carried a Kabar and an excellent little Gerber bootknife that I found one day. Gave that one away when I left the USMC, and still sort of regret it.

"A Schrade Old Timer triple blade jackknife

holds an edge well and for the crap I use it for its just the ticket."
Same here, an Old Timer medium stockman and a Beretta Cheetah:
BE-75561.png I really like the Cheetah for the way it opens. Its lightning fast but wont snap shut on yer fingers unless you make it. No springs, torsion bar, etc.:)

Every day it's a UK. Spyderco in front right pocket, sometimes a CRKT on my keychain and other days it a Leatherman Wave on the belt:)

Cold Steel Gunsite II or Cold Steel Ti Lite on work days with a Swiss Army knife for the scissors.

Three. Spyderco Endura or Delica in left pocket, Gerber Ridge on keyring and a rotating assortment in the right pocket. Lately that has been a CRKT My Tighe, but I carry a Kershaw Leek quite a bit as well.

Always at least one. My current fave EDC is an Old Timer -- XTimer. The finish is crap, flakes right off when you sharpen it, but the edge holding is just fine and this thing is FLAT so it doesn't ever really leave my pocket.

Sometimes in the scrubs I have that gerber one that's really small and doubles (they say) as a money clip.. just for the total no-profile ride. More useful than you'd think in a care situation.. you'd be surprised at how many people can't tie a gown right (please, please, just tie it like you would your shoelaces..)

For hunting it's a fixed blade. If I'm going somewhere that the knife is all I can hide (NYC public transportation, in the past) the 6'' Ti-Lite comes along. It's certainly big and sharp enough for the job, but nothing else can really be accessed while it's in your pocket.

And when a knife is all you can hide, pair it with your tactical running shoes :)

Can't legally carry a fixed blade as a daily...

...In Michigan. The law here is a manually folding, under 3.5" blade. You can carry a fixed blade when hunting. So, for the last 40 years I've carried my faithful Case Single-blade jack in my weak-side pocket. For hunting I have a sawback dive knife in a push-button locking hard sheath in fluorescent pink (!) so I can't lose it...Or a Case Small Game knife.

Own "Several" but ...

Usually only carry 2 = Today it happens to be Four:D
SAK Parachutists model (Sidelock)
Gerber Applegate-Fairburn
Gerber Money clip+ penknife
another Gerber this one a nailclip+penknife:D

normally 5 when i im in a combat zone its 7 or 8 always my gerber multi tool spyderco gunting spyderco police buck 119 and sog mini pentagon in combat i trade the buck for a kabar an a-f fighter an a-f boot knife and a crkt m16 well then i also add the bayonet and at times there is two kerambit on my gear too

I only need one.

The same one that I have carried for the last 10 years... My Bench Made CQC7. It has served me well for any task that a knife can be used for. Tough, reliable, easy to use... in my humble opinion, its the best folding knife ever made... but as I said, that's just MY opinion.

I carry SEVEN

I carry seven knives:

Two Kershaw 1670TBLKST assisted-opening knives clipped to both back pockets
One Cold Steel Grand Vaquero serrated 6" folding knife clipped to right front pocket.
One Leatherman Wave in my left front pocket.
One Swiss Army Tinkerer in my right front pocket on my keychain.
Two Spidercards, one in my wallet and one in my briefcase.
