I know I'll get skewered for saying it... but the method of concealed carry I keep going back to is....
Appendix carry of a Ruger LCP with a Clip Draw, tucked in my pants at 2 o'clock, condition 3 (chamber empty).
Reasons:
1. Very well concealed. Only the but end of the LCP slide is exposed and my shirt blouses out right over that. On my physique and wardrobe, pocket carry in a Nemisis bulges out like a sore thumb, with the holster increasing the total package thickness ~75%
2. Comfortable, yet not so much so that I forget it's there.
3. Easy. Check the chamber and slip it in my pants. Sit down in the car and slip it out to stow in console. Slip it back into my pants
4. Accessible. I won't win any quick draw contest, but it is easy enough to retrieve.
5. Safe. Can't shoot my nuts off with an empty chamber.
6. The limited concealed carry option I can and will use every day is better than the better options that I won't.
I work in a "prohibited" environment and can't get made. And I believe in keeping my tools on my person.
Anyone else feel this way?
