If I could only have 5 pistols?

Tinker Talks Guns followed Chris with his own video: If I could only have 5 handguns?

For fun, it's our turn!
If you could only have 5, what would you pick!

For the sake of it, I am going to stick to what would be a reasonable budget.
1. Sig P365 9 mm.
2. Ruger gp100 357 mag
3 Super redhawk 44 mag
4. A 1911 in the 1911 chambering(ya. 45 auto)
5. A 22 revolver that would allow 22 mag as well.
I have stuck with what I would consider practical at this point in life. There are several of the above, that I could easily trade out for a classic Smith & Wesson, or a custom of some kind. Also, if it doesn’t bend the rules, I could also throw a Sig 320 FCU in there, and have a stack of barrels, slides and modules for it…

Pocket .380
Small .38 Special (J-frame sized)
Duty sized .357 Mag (K or L-frame sized)
Blackhawk .45 Colt
K-Frame .22

It would be nice to have a bit smaller .22 handgun, but the accuracy makes up for it. I think I could do pretty much anything I needed to with the above. You could make small changes here and there, and I didn't get into barrel lengths or other particulars.

Some solid choices already posted above.

My take based on current inventory:

Ruger Convertible .22/.22mag Single Six. Plinker
Single 7 .32H&R/.327 FM. Small game/Varmints
P89 9MM. SD @ Home/Full Size Service Pistol
DW Pistol Pack in .357. CCW/Target shooting
Red Hawk 4 inch .45 Colt. Bear Country.

I could get by with a handful if I had to. But it wouldn't be easy to give up the others. But I would definitely keep these five:

S&W Model 41 for 22. I like to hit what I aim at.
Sig P220 45 ACP for home defense
Sig P226 for carry
Ruger Red Hawk 4 inch barrel 44 mag for a woods gun
Taurus Model 65 4 inch barrel 357 for versatility since I reload

A true gun enthusiast, answers the question with his top 20 list!:thumbup:

STI “Frankenstein” 9mm that I built on a SteelMaster frame with a 5” slide & 6” barrel (because I think it looks cool), BoMar-type sights. My main pistol-league gun and great for Steel Challenge..

S&W 327 .38/.357 5” 8-shot revolver. Fantastic DA trigger and super-accurate. My #2 pistol-league gun. Also great for Steel Challenge.

S&W Shield Plus with red dot sight. Best carry gun I’ve found.

AutoMag set with 6 ½” .44AMP, 10 ½ .44AMP and 10 ½” .357AMP barrels. The most fun-to-shoot guns I own!

Argentine/Browning HP 9mm, customized with adjustable sights, no-bite hammer, fabulous trigger and hard-chrome finish. Maybe the most accurate 9mm I've ever shot.

1. Springfield mil spec 1911
2. Glock 21
(Already have those)
3. Smith and Wesson 686+ 7in barrel 357 Mag
4. CZ75 9mm with a threaded barrel.
5. The PSA Dagger in 45 Auto that they announced was in the prototype stage at Shot Show 2024. Its supposed to be the size of a glock 19 and hold 16 rounds with an extended mag iirc. And I'd get a threaded barrel for it obviously.
