Lee 6000 Case Feed Problem

we can suspect faulty block.
So looks like it was the slider block ... And it should have been covered under warranty.

BTW, here's how case sliders look on my SPP and 2023 Pro1K breech lock head (Note that there is play between slider block and slide bar. There was no snagging as they slid freely when moved by hand using the screw):

I agree. And said that from the beginning.

I sent the pictures and results to the guy I was dealing with at Lee.

So now it is time to start loading- until the next problem.

Wish I could help, I load 9mm and only had minor problems due to couple of samples with rough case head surfaces not sliding causing a hang...... I have 3D printed parts that connect my electric collator to it so my small problem may not be what you are experiencing, but maybe something is related......waiting to hear and see what your new part does. That said DO check your brass for rough spots where the embossed lettering is....I just filed the rough spots smooth and it hasn't repeated. Good luck with yours.

The video that follows is how mine works.....and shows the problem cases messing perfection up! ;)

Your collator seems great!

I have a collator but was wondering how to connect it to the press.
Can you please share your 3D Printer files for the support and case feeder adapter?

Thank You in advance.

because clear tubing is smoother, I printed the spacer/stabler part to slip inside Lee's 9/16" clear tube at the bottom....they then drop into the hole in the front of the Lee 6000 die plate and provides stablizing support.

The Insert Hanger part uses the same bolt and nut that Lee uses for their case feeder and goes in the same hole.

The biggest hurdle you have is the casefeeder is a moving target and the collator is stationary. So I used tubing that slides inside of tubing. I finally found tubing that fits inside Lee's 9/16 tube and another size that fits outside Lee's 9/16. Posting a video here to show you what I mean.....then I'll send you source info. In the video below, the 9/16 is the one that the smaller tubing has to slide up and down inside of. 9/16 is also the tubing that presses into the 3d printed part I named spacer.

The other important part is the insert hanger. Inserts are TylerR inserts from CastBoolits's 3Dprinted collator forum. Any TylerR post has his downloads.....once downloaded look for the APP parts and you find the "inserts" (the red printed parts shown in my videos)

The following link is where I get the two tubing sizes that work with Lee's 9/16 inside and out. I use the larger one above Lee's which slides over the top and connect the collator parts. The smaller one slides up and down inside the 9/16's keeping collated bullets in place and feeding.
The 15mm/16mm size slides over the 9/16 Lee.
The 12mm/13mm size slides inside of the 9/16" tubing.
