Long Range Rifle/Scope/PRS question(s)

Thanks. The only stage I was upset about was the one after high prone and I forgot to dial back to zero coming off the stage.

Big.....fat....zero.

Sigh. A zero really hurts one's ranking at the end of the day.

According to my wife, I am becoming "more imperfect human" everyday.

Ouch!

I’ve never shot an (official) match, just a bunch of buddies trying to have fun in the field/pasture. But I have forgotten to dial back… worse, I completely forgot to set the Zero stop, and still cranked it to where it stopped… ya… I hit the dirt 40 yards (plus) in front of the target… I was so frustrated I put my forehead on the mat next to the gun and just laughed hysterically…. Couldn’t believe what I just did.

I’ve taken a zero. It was my first time shooting the NRA AR Tactical class. I spent too much time fiddling with my gear and ran out of time. Actually it was 2 zeros, my last 2 shots.

At another match, had a guy in the lane next to me cross fire on my target, a perfect center X bullseye. I got his X and he got a zero.

You learn and live to fight another day.
