Lucky pawn shop find, Ruger PC-40 Takedown at PC-9 price.

I had an original PC4 many years ago and sold it because I didn't like having to use Ruger's proprietary magazines.
I've never really understood this mindset. You can use the magazines more than once. So who cares about having to buy 4-6 magazines.

The old model PC-40 is a little understandable since the full-capacity magazines are hard to get *Cough*IHave11OfThem*Cough* so many people have to use the 10-round ones.

I should have elaborated: at the time I owned the PC4, my primary carry was a Glock 23. It bugged me that I couldn't share mags between the platforms. I still have that G23 with a KKM 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm magazines. Mags move back and forth between the Glock and the Ruger. Happy. :)
