That was quite a good article. I'm honestly surprised that a California periodical published a non-biased piece like that. I'm glad to see that the "movement" is advancing out west.

Keep up the good work!

Pullnshoot25, this article was amazing! I rarely have heard gun owners argue from a constitutional standpoint, and I believe that is the only way to think.

Keep doing what you are doing!

Kudos to all involved - that article was very level, and everybody on our side did a superb job of representin'.

Most excellent. :D

Good job Brother!

I love California-- the weather, the scenery, and many of its people. I feel so bad that many of the gun laws you have are-- well, stupid. CCLs, mag capacity, "assault weapons", etc, but at least you can OC/// Ilive in in Texas--which is one of only SIX states that OC is not allowed-- which is total crud--

I will always support the struggle any person has in trying to get the government to actually enforce the protection of one's rights-- and I salute you for carrying on the struggle "behind the curtain"---

Keep it up, and once again, Good-- no GREAT job!!

Good article. My thanks to all who OC in California and do so respectfully of the ill-informed.

One thing I want to point out: You CAN get a CCW in California. You just have to live in a county with a reasonable sheriff and be willing to jump through a couple of hoops. Unfortunately, the larger cities and more populated counties of CA make it nearly impossible for the average citizen to get a CCW because while CA is a 'may issue' state, the people who 'may' issue a permit are often not willing to do so.

I should add that a CCW permit issued in any county of CA is valid in EVERY county in CA. Even though the residents of San Francisco can't CC, someone from a more reasonable locale with a valid CCW can CC in SF.

Doesn't make much sense does it?

Good for you! What a great article. We need more like them that show gun owners in a good light and help convince people that freedom is a good thing not to be feared.
