i just bought a marlin 983. here is my problem:
1.if i load 12 rounds in the tube 11 will extract and the 12th i have to remove manually.
2.if i shoot it "single shot", it will extract a spent case, but not an unfired one.
it is brand new and has less than 100rds through it, is this normal? this is my first new bolt action.
