I just purchased "lightly used" wood furniture for my plastic-stock Mossberg 500 on ebay.
The seller said it was a "nice wood set" with "no major marks or scratches," and the photos looked fine.
Received it today and there are two clear cracks on the inside of the forend, which were not visible in the pictures. While the description and pictures may not have been technically untrue (with "major" as a qualifier and no mention of cracks), I do think they are misleading.
I know, buyer beware, etc. But is this typical for "nice" Mossberg wood? I'm trying to decide if I should take it up with the seller.
