most trusted handgun

The one I pull out of my holster at that time , I do NOT carry a nonreliable pistol . So a BG could end up looking down the barrel of a pistol chambered in anything from 38Spec up to 10MM .

Yup, it has the LOCK!

Nearly a 500 rounds of 158gr magnums with nary a hiccup. Great trigger is SA or DA. Smith 60-14.

I also trust my CZ83 for reliability but I'd still go to the Smith in a life or death situation.

One of two 1911s

I've got a pair of handguns that have gone several thousand rounds between malfs and I trust them. One is a Charles Daly, the other a Springfield custom build. Whichever one comes into hand first.

If reliability is the deciding factor it is my Sig 226....its never failed to fire and never jammed....if stopping power is the deciding factor I would go with my SW 686 or Glock 30.

My Gemini Customs Ruger SP101. Beyond compare with any other handgun (IMHO).

I trust ALL of my firearms.

Only one? Still hard to do because I have several ones.

RUGER Blackhawk in 45Colt aka long colt. Very accurate as the other Rugers are.

Smith and Wesson in 357Magnum - Model 686. Six inch barrel - 6 shot. Very accurate as the other Smith and Wessons are.

I would trust my Ruger and Smith and Wesson 22LR handguns and 22LR rifles IF that is all that I owned too. That is not the case though. A 22LR is better than NOTHING if that is all a person had and needed a firearm. I will catch heat on this - I am sure! I am saying if that is ALL that a person had... 22LR in a handgun and/or rifle.

As I said... I learned on hand guns and I still prefer a hand gun over a rifle.

I would mention the rifles that I TRUST, like to shoot and would in self defense but that is not the question. They could be used for hunting too. My groom/husband hunts and is BIG into self defense as my late husband was into self defense issues. My late husband did not hunt though, he was just not INTO it. His hobby was boating - sailing and under power too.

I don't own a shotgun but there is one here that I could use if needed. Would I use it in a bad situation? Nope... I would USE what I know how to shoot and what I shoot well with = my own firearms which are easy to get to in my home here, out west, as they were in my home back east. Practice.

Respectfully yours,

Catherine

CZ-75D PCR
Browning Hi Power
Sig P228
Springfield 1911A1 Milspec

I could list more, because I agree, all mine are reliable, these are just a representation.

My Glock 17. Of all the guns I have, I have put more rounds through it than anything else. Therefore...I trust it the most.
