The answer is easy: Whatever Walther I have in my hand at the moment. The P5? Perfect choice. The P88? Even better? The P99? Hard to beat. The PPK/S? Carry it daily ...

I'd say either the Beretta 92's, Glock 26/27, CZ 75's, and Browning High Powers.

Colt Series 70 Mk. 4 in .45acp

The one handgun I simply won't part with is my Colt Series 70 Mk. 4 in .45acp. The old gun is just smoooth! :D

the reality is it BETTER be the gun i have with me right now! huh?

in which case it is my G19 or the HKUSPc 45..thats what i carry cuz thats what i train with.

Even though I am a semi-auto guy through and through, after having seen my own quality semi's fail to work properly on occasion, I would have to say a revolver. My NAA gaurdian jams like crazy, but it is not the same as the USPc which jammed once (Due to a bad mag). However, that one FTF will always be in the back of my mind

Yup. Revolver. S&W 638. Wait, does this have to be a pistol we already own? If not...that cannon from the Gonzales flag gets my vote...oh, I see it says "Handgun"... Nevermind. The 638 is fine...it always goes POP.

As much as I love my Kimbers, Sigs, and H&Ks, I'd have to give the nod to my Glock 19. As The Lone Haranguer said early on in this thread, it's one of the guns I've had the longest and it's been ever faithful to me since day one. True, there are better performers out there, but when it comes down to it, I still grab the Glock 19 everyday when I head out the door. It points naturally for me, is lightweight and accurate, has the same trigger pull from the start to the finish, and is easy to carry. I keep coming back to it after all these years.

I have a lot of hand guns in the rack to choose from, most are pretty reliable. But the two I know will always go bang and cycle 100% are my S&W 6946 and my little Beretta 950B.
Not the most glamorous of guns, but mine are utterly reliable.
