My advice to people just getting into carry

As to the training... I"ve taken a few classes. Mainly, I was taught posture and proper aiming techniques, and how to watch my finger placement. The guy was good, very helpful and all. But, just finding the time to do it on his schedule was super tough. He was mostly available during workdays.

As I mentioned earlier, I was lucky enough to work with the same guy three to four times a year for five years. This was in addition to my own range practice, where I went over the drills that he taught me again and again and again and again until I was doing them right.

Every single class I took with this guy he emphasized the fundamentals. That was the core of every class.

He had us work on them again and again and again and again until they became ingrained in us. Then he had his employ the employee the fundamentals in increasingly difficult circumstances.

What I found out taking that approach is it my Marksmanship improved exponentially.

That's important because as I mentioned earlier your two Flyers are going to land somewhere and when they do you're accountable for them.

I've never been in a class where the instructor taught mag dumps. Every class have been in emphasized aimed fire. The only exception to that was times were they taught us how to fire from retention.
