MY CZECH VZ-24 8x57MM MAUSER

I got a Czech vz-24 8x57mm Mauser from JGSALES.COM a few weeks ago. It costed me just over 220 bucks with shipping and a FFL transfer fee. It works great but could use a restoration but I don't want to spend 300 plus bucks to get it done. I was able to take it out shooting twice now. The range is 39 miles one way so it will be rare when I can take it out to shoot it. Since I didn't like the accuracy of it at 25 yards I ordered a scout scope for it. I still need to buy a case for it and I probably will just buy a clap on bi pod for it to. I'm just a target shooter that enjoys being as accurate as I can. I only like big caliber rifles so a 17hmr and a 22 caliber is out of the question for me for target shooting.

What did they tell you when they shipped it? That the Czech was in the mail?

Ha,Ha. Very funny. They don't send guns by mail. I ordered it online so I got a email sent from them letting me know it was shipped. The only time I talked with them on the phone is to see where my gun was since they didn't give me or the FFL dealer I had them send it to a tracking number.

Now if I can only get my sights set for 100 yards and my rifle restored.
