My hi power went from OD to Beautiful

Is that the Cylinder and Slide ambi safety? If so, how do you like it? TIA
 
I don't think i will be able to sleep after seeing a green Hi power, is there no end to the maddness? Thank goodness you set the universe strait.
 
Thank you all for the kind comments. The credit goes to Joe McDaniel of McDaniels Gun shop in South Lyon Michigan. Joe is the second generation of his family to be a gunsmith and a machinist. He is a perfectionist. Let me tell you the before and after pictures dont do justice. Not only was the gun green but it had quite a few little dings and scratches. The gun now looks like it is new out of the box. He did a satin smooth except on the top of the slide. The slide is a flat black so you dont get glare in the son.



This is the kind of guy that Joe is. I have over the years bought a few guns from Davidson's and Joe is the guy who does the transfer for me. Well one of the guns was a Chuck Daly 45. When it came in Joe looked at it and it had quite a few rough surfaces. Joe broke it down took it out back and gave it a fluff and buff. Well I asked him how much and he wouldn't take any money. He sort of said you bought it from me and I want to make sure it is right.

And yes the ambi safety is from Cylinder and Slide. I am left handed. Joe installed it for me and from what he said it dropped in without much work. It works great.
