You are using the old Black Responsive theme. We have installed a new dark theme for you, called UI.X. This will work better with the new upgrade of our software. You can select it at the bottom of any page.
You should still lube the inside of the necks, and it wouldn't hurt to apply a little to the outside as well. Inside allows the expander to pull back through easier resulting in less wear and potential stretch. Outside to keep from potentially scratching the inside of the die and make the resizing process easier.
I use a bore brush and clean/polish the inside of the case neck when it is chucked up in the drill. This greatly reduces the friction during sizing and eliminates the need for lube.
I neck size all my .223 bolt brass, and have yet to lube it, or get a stuck case. But, as was said earlier, if it puts your mind at rest, give it a little Imperial and size away.
I don´t like to clean oil or grease from the inside of case neck. So i use LEE Collet dies with my .22Horn. .222Rem, 223Rem, 22-250Rem, .308Win, .30-06Spr and 9,3x57Mauser rifles.
