All it is, Jim does not have any refutation for the substantive criticisms that I put forward. So he's reduced to lampooning my authority.Well now that was dumb, wasn't it.
I thought the same but as a rule CZ does make a heck of a gun for the price, unless this comes from The Custom Shop

It's just design features he is (and I am) hesitant about. I'm not sure either of us despise the system (yet), but until it is proven well enough, anything new is suspect! I hadn't jumped into the patent drawings when I commented first (probably should have). Apparently they got it to function at least well enough for a photo op though, so perhaps it will work great. Until it does though, I'm not going to fork over that much cash for the honor of being a beta tester. If they want to give me one though, and have me test it and take advantage of my massive internet influence (HA!) I'd be happy to tear it apart and maybe even make a video about it like everyone else seems to!

I understand that. There are a lot of paying beta testers these days, for guns and a lot of other products. But don't worry, they have "good customer service." Riiight. But he made it sound like he had direct experience.

Has a price actually been confirmed, because I didn't think it was at this point.

I don't know for sure that it is beyond the toolroom prototype stage.

There is an estimated release date of 2019, but no idea when. It may or may not ever come to full production, but it is still an interesting design.
