I just today picked up my latest. I got a Mod 35 originally known as a Model of 1953 22/32 Target. It has a 6" barrel on a J frame with a 6 shot 22 lr cylinder, the sights are a 1/10 inch patridge front and S&W typical adj rear. I has a wonderful lockup and no front to back cyl play and very little side to side or rotational. The trigger is typical J frame and has a slight tendency to stack towards the end. I hope to shoot it tomorrow. I paid more than Standard catalog of S&W by Supica and Nahas state as it is worth but I wanted a 22lr J frame. It is close to EXE condition and S&N state it would be $350 in EXE condition. SN is 134xxx which puts it around 1968-69 Diamond grips, which mine does not have, stopped 1968 and M prefix SN's start 1969. My Digital is dead and I will post pics when I can get Potential SIL's digital.

I always wanted one of those and never found one -yet. I hope mine will be as nice as yours! Congratulations. Guys I have not been able to photoshop all my S&W pictures yet , hold on Illgetaroundtoit!;)

Nice looking piece, 'fessr

Don't think I've ever actually seen a six-inch .22/32. With that small frame, the image is almost like an N-frame with an 8-3/8" barrel!

Hope your Kit Gun target shoots as well as my short M34. I blundered onto it NIB in a Gibson's Discount store in Fort Worth in '70 or '71, and they had it priced well below retail. I told myself I was getting it as a training aid for my wife to learn to shoot a Chiefs Special. ;)

Mine is round butt, two-inch, and it is amazing how well it shoots! Can't believe I've actually managed to hang onto what is essentially a "fun gun" for over 30 years. Back then, I'd mess with a revolver for a while and then trade it off for something else. Not now . . . .

Best,
Johnny

I shot it tonight and it shot very well, much better than I did. I also shot my 27-2, it was like Father and Son. They look very much alike, to make them more similar I might find some N frame Magna's and get Tyler adapters for both. It does not like Rem bulk pack but like Fed bulk pack.

I think I have some K frame targets that I would swap for some N frame magnas if any body would like to.
