idiot check question: does the nra range have hearing and eye protection available for rental?

Yup! Hope to see you out there one of these days, Pauli!

I may be selling my Kahr. If so, I'm replacing it with a snubby revolver, most likely a k-frame 357mag.

Ahh, that would be sweet. You might also want to check out the Security-Six snubs (2.75" barrels). Can't believe I almost sold my 4"!

excellent, thanks - i only have three sets for five people. and i do intend to see you out there one of these days.
"Force" is such an ugly word ... I prefer to say inspire.
"wot's that?"
"it's an inspiring cone."
"wot's it do?"
"it inspires the bullets to fit in the barrel."

reaching waaaaaaay back in the vault... this is a 2.5" barrel 65. The trigger is average. Which is to say, it's heavy and long in double action, light & crisp single action. and it's not a DAO, just DA... it still has single action.

I've got a hogue mono grip on it...

probably 200 - about what I paid for it.
[disclaimer] This gun had reduced power springs from Wolff installed, then uninstalled going back to stock. The reason? even one step lower on the spring resulted in some ammo not going off, so I went back to stock at least on the hammer spring. With this spring, it has been reliable.

Also, where do I find a snub shotgun?

(yes, I know it's more than a 3" barrel)

Oh well, I will try to be there with a 4 incher.

We're talking about revolvers.

LoL! :p

Now all I have to do is find a .357 snub in VA at a good price. Anybody (KONY) able to help?

Hmmm ... unless you buy Smurf's snub, you might need to buy new. Seems like the local folks are keeping their .357's as I haven't many up for sale in VA.

We have come to an agreement, further searches in this quarter are not needed at this moment. Thanks for keeping your eyes open.

Does that include semi-auto barrels?

sure, you can bring a bottom feeder with a 3" or less barrel and it would qualify for the generous 'snub' definition ...

Of course, the main draw of the snub is still having either big bore :D , or magnum :D ... or both :D :D power in a small, concealable and reliable package. Some bottom feeders tend to have :uhoh: issues... in smaller iterations...
