I'm sure you did, and apparently a lot of people had the "You Suck" model also. But lots of folks never utilized the "You Suck" Mini 14 properly, it is an understandable mistake to not realize that is what the rifle was telling you.
You guys need to rent "The American" on Netflix. Lots of love for the mini-14 in that movie. George Clooney is an expert in setting one as a precision sniper rifle so you "don't suck"

I have the VX-Hog on an AR and LOVE it! It's very clear for such a small objective. It's says Pig Plex on the reticle which was annoying and distracting at first but I've gotten used to it.
I'm thinking about getting another one for my Mini as well. Just haven't convinced my other half that we need to drop $200 on a scope for a rifle that stays under the back seat of my pickup.
I have a soft spot in me for minis. I have tried every vintage in them throughout the years. started when they retailed for 179. all the way up to the latest versions. did dumb trades as in 99 sav for one. the only thing a scope on any of the ones I shot did was show me my misses more clearly. just a little light hearted humor for you gents. I do like a fixed compact scope any any carbine though. burris used to have one, weavers 1 to 3 is another... dieselchief
Aahhhh what mini thread would be complete without the by play!
Another option you may want to look at (that i forgot about till i got my 458 out this evening) are the brunton eterna 1.5-5x20s. Ive seen them on ebay and amazon for 150ish. My 458s been wearing one for about 4 months now and ive decided I really like them. Only down side is the big occular hell.
