That is one awesome buck. He is about as slick as a fattened hog. I had the pleasure to see and measure one 8 pt that broke 150 gross. It was a humbling experience.Hard to get much beyond 150" score on an 8 point, this one could almost reach that. Would like to see what he could look like with two more years of growth

Don't count him out yet. They can get pretty goofy and do some stupid things when they get after the ladies. You might have him on the front porch at noon.Lotsa bruiser bucks on this thread and I'm enjoying it a lot. Been getting a buck on the cams on a friends property near me pretty regular lately. He's about the biggest one in that area according to the trail cams. View attachment 870063 Only problem is that he seems to be pretty nocturnal. Here's a shot from almost two weeks ago which is about the best picture of him yet. Too bad it's dark; but what gets me is that in the picture he's standing 10-12 yards directly in front of my ground blind.
..........That's a possibility.. And the property on the south side of the land I'm on is just vacant land, mostly wooded and hasn't been hunted in a few years. It got sold and the new owners are planning to have several hunters over there this fall. I'm hoping they push some deer my way to either the blind or the ladder stand.Don't count him out yet. That is one gorgeous buck. Hats off to you.Well the previously posted trail camera photo of that big 8 point can now be verified. Oldest son got him yesterday. No score yet but we're pretty sure he'll go over 150".
(Update: Green scored - 154 4/8 inches)
