If I am selling a gun, don't offer me half of what I'm asking regardless of what you think the price ought to be. If I'm the seller, I already know what the price ought to be and about what I will accept. Sometimes the price is indicative of other factors involved. If I am selling a Colt Python, don't feed me a bunch of xxxx just because you are trying to "steal" it from me. If you want it, we talk, if not, move on. I have never sold a gun that I particularly cared a lot if I actually sold it.
