I recently purchased a Glock 26. I am practicing and trying to improve with it. I am wondering I have searched and cant seem to find the proper sight picture for the stock sights. I am also wondering if these guns (barrell twist etc) are designed for a certain weight bullet. I am not wondering about speed or penetration just poi = poa. I know that low left is a common problem for new glock shooters. I would just hate to know that I am trying to correct this and shooting the wrong bullets.

The glock 26 is not something you want to take to the Camp Perry matches. It's for up close work, it was made for the 9mm NATO round. orchidhunter

Center the dot left to right in the rear notch. Top of the dot even with the top of the notch (Illustration). You may find your gun shoots to POA or requires a slightly different sight picture (i.e. six o'clock hold)

Once you establish where your POA/POI, under 25 yds, it should be pretty consistent with most commonly available 9mm loads.

"Low left" for new Glock shooters is a technique problem not a sight issue.

Regards,
Greg
