It says that if we let 1 million in ILLEGALLY every year, the burden on state and federal services will not be bearable.
Even if they could not have childeren or spread disease it wouldn't be fair to ask the american citizens (taxpayers) to pay for them. My bringing up Catholisism was only to point out the statistically higher birthrate and (presuming they obey the Pope and believe condoms are wrong) higher likelyhod of spreading STDs. Statistically, Catholics would seem to exacerbate the burden both through birthrate and health care costs. That's not an attack on Catholics, that's just one birth-rate statistic and one logical assumption that a culture that doesn't use condoms is going to have more kids and be at more risk of contracting disease.
And one more thing, you can all them ILLEGAL immigrants (since that's what they are), you can call them undocumented workers (PC garbage talk...whatever), but for the love of our flag stop calling them immigrants.
Immigrants aren't the problem, and no one here thinks they are. Calling these ILLEGAL immigrants simply immigrants to garner racial sympathy makes be wish the internet had 'b*c*h -slap' button. They entered the country ILLEGALLY, they consume tax dollars ILLEGALLY, they don't make US (ie the United States of America as an Economic and Military Superpower) stronger, and NO, IT'S NOT OKAY TO HIRE THEM YOU GREEDY CRIMINAL!

Just a couple of comments- One, these demonstrations are probably the most effective thing the illegals could do to hurt thier cause.
And two, it is not a given that all catholic countries have a high birth rate- Italy is a good example, the Italians have one of the lowest birth rates in the world, at something like 1.2 kids per female they are WAY below replacement rate. The demographic implications of this , combined with the very high birth rates of the north african immigrants,means Italy is going to be a muslim country in the forseeable future.

Italy is only NOMINALLY a Catholic country. The churches there run on crone power, and they are running out of crones. Most Italians are Mediterranean hedonists. Not that much has changed from classical times.

The economic situation in Oregon is admittedly an on/off sort of thing, with the recessions generally being more frequent and deeper than the rest of the nation. So…..
The next time we experience a downturn in the economy here, I’m going to pack up my family and move them into your backyard. No, I mean Your backyard – at your house. I figure we’ll pitch a tent and set up housekeeping.
Mind you, I’m not asking for permission or your blessing – just letting you know how it’s going to be.
Oh sure, we’ll be trespassing and all, but I know that won’t bother you a bit. You see, I’m in construction and I’m a hard worker (although admittedly Anglo-Saxon, I’m afraid – I hope that doesn’t count against me in your eyes) and will allow you to hire me in such a manner as you make out pretty good overall.
I feel pretty safe about all this because I know you won’t report me to the authorities for my trespassing. Because, and I stress this point, it will be good for your business bottom line.
Now, I’ve got quite a few brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces and aunts and uncles and cousins who are also going to be relocating with me. Times are hard for them too, you know.
Oh, don’t fret. I realize that the whole extended family probably won’t fit in your backyard, so not to worry. No, the others will just move into your neighbor’s backyards and set up camp.
Some of my relatives are really hard workers too, so maybe you can manage to employ them all? Of course, some of them are a bit lazy and shiftless, so forget offering them a job. Some are not capable of working because of age or physical ailments, or taking care of lots of kids. Hell, some of them are even gang members and outright criminals.
But I’m not worried or concerned about them. You see, I know that you and your neighbors will take care of us. Those of us who aren’t capable of working or just don’t want to… well, we know that you and your neighbors will foot the bill for us, and happily, too.
So here’s a starter list of things some of us will need; how about things like free medical care, free schooling, free food and housing – you get the idea.
Don’t worry about auto insurance though, we won’t. If we should happen to trash somebody’s car, property, body, etc., well…. que sera sera. It’s not like we meant to hit you. Do you know what insurance costs these days? Sheesh!
Don’t think we won’t be grateful, though. When enough of us live in you and your neighbor’s backyards, we’re going to make sure we vote whenever possible. We’ll see to it that those politicians willing to sell their souls for votes hear our voices. Then you’ll truly see gratitude. Forget this backyard nonsense, you’ve got this nice, big warm and dry house. We’ll just move in to one or two of those bedrooms you’ve been selfishly occupying. If that bothers you, well… move along. What? Are you prejudiced against Oregonians or something?
We might even wind up allowing you to stay in your own neighborhood. Then again, we may just drape ourselves in the Oregon flag and march in great numbers through your town demanding our rights to what is yours. It’s not like that concept is without precedent.

It was about those dirty Catholics who don't believe in using condoms and spread STDs, as much as it was about population growth and demographics. If he'd limited his discourse to demographics I woulda let it slide. But he involved religion and disease, in an offensive mannor that has nothing to do with this discussion.
It also ticked me off that this guy has a problem with Hispanic/Mexican Catholics, whilst he doesn't seem to care that there are some 70 million American/caucasian/white Catholics living in this country practicing the vary same lifestyle. If this guy were really concerned about the implications of not using condoms and birth control, then he would have focussed his attention on the Irish and Italian Catholic communities here in the states.
But, of course, Irish and Italians are white Europeans, so they're OK. It's appears as though the real issue is one of not letting America's lily-white caucasion population become tainted whith those brown skinned folks and their strange/foreign/unAmerican culture.

The obvious flaw in your logic is that Jammer personally owns his back yard, and as such he has the rights to control how it's used.
You, however, do NOT personally own all of the United States, and as such you do NOT have the rights to control how all of the country's property is used. Only the owners of that property have the right to control how it's used.
Tell me, meef, how many illegals are currently camped out on you own personal property? 30? 10? 5?

When did I say I had a problem with Hispanics/Mexicans? If you meant the illegal ones then yeah, I guess I do have a problem with them. It does sound like you have a problem with Irish and Italian Catholics though...wonder what that's about?
