Admin, I wasn't sure where to post, please move if in wrong area.
A friend who has a small LGS has asked for my help, as he knows I have previously worked at an FFL and did the A&D books. He currently uses the old paper bound books. He wants to switch over to one of the computerized system and wanted my help in choosing one. I have experience with EGOSS, but I know there are better ones out there. His is a small store. It is just him and his wife who run it. They are both in their 70s. She does the books now, but with the uptick in volume right now, she is finding it difficult to keep up. In fact they have started closing early to allow her more time to do the books, which of course is not the best thing for a business.
Because of my experience, I'm thinking EGOSS would be the quickest to get up and running for them, but I know it's short comings.
What do you use? Now or in the past? What do you like/dislike? Why did you select it, if you are the one who selected it?
