Too complicated to chose.

1917 Colt New Service Army or 50's vintage Colt Commander... at least they shoot the same ammo.

:D

I've never met a handgun I did not enjoy shooting. Here's how I'd rank the weapons I've shot:

1. S&W Model 28 4" barrell. Very accurate and can handle anything easily.
2. S&W Model 19 4" barrell, nickle. See above, but kicks a bit harder w/ 357s.
3. Ruger Single Six 6 1/2" barrell - stainless steel. Fun, accurate plinker, and the dual cylinders adds to the vesatility.
4. Beretta M9 - I've never had a problem qualifying with these, although I do not own a similar weapon.
5. S&W Model 10 4". Simple, accurate, and the blue on mine is very nice.
6. Ruger P512 - Fun plinker
7. Charles Daly 1911 model - accuracy with some punch
8. S&W Model 65 4"- Similar to model 19, but the smaller fixed sights are harder for me to pickup.
9. Heritage Rough Rider 4" - another fun plinker, but not quite as accurate as the Ruger Single Six.
10. Makarov - Nice little package.
11. Ruger 95 - Reliable, accurate and practical, but has no inspirational qualities.
12. Ruger Super Blackhawk - 10" 44 mag. I'm still learning to tame this beast.

This dedicated to ones I love.

Para P-14ltd- 45acp & DW "Razorback" in 10mm.

Both are excellent in there own right, but 10mm gets the nodd from me as overall CCW cartridge... esp in a 1911 platform.

12-34hom.

My Browning Hi Power 'Capitan' model. It's accurate and effective out to 500 meters, if the adjustable tangent sight is correct :)

desert eagle in 500 AE

This is the gun I have one my as a BUG gun. If I have to use it while working on the farm, things are not looking very good for both me and whatever I am facing.

It is not the first gun I grab for self defense on the farm because I think most things can get kill with a my Taurus 608. It has 8 shots of .357 magnum and that is plenty enough. I don't think I have ever since jaguars, mountain liions, and anything super dangerous out here. The most "potential" dangerous critter I have encounter is a black bear a few years back while I had to collect some firewood for the house. I just went back to my truck parked 30 yards or so away to take out my .22 rifle to gave it a warning shot in the air. I haven't seen it sense. Aparently, one of the farm workers left his part of his sandwich in the woods by accident and that attracted the bear. There are bears in the region, but they're mostly 5 miles away in the densed forest. There are plenty of dogs around here that seem to give the neighbors a hard time. Even pitt bulls are no matches for these dogs since they always run back to the pack and any pittbull foolish enough to give chase will ended up with not-so-fond memory.

Back to the reality: Desert Eagle is my favorite handgun of all time. From my unpleasant experience with shooting .357 magnum without ear protection a long time ago, I always carry a set of ear muff in the truck and 2 sets of ear plugs dangling around my neck.

well, there is two guns i own that i would not get rid if unless i found a suitable replacement.

first is my Steyr m9
I havent found a mid size 9mm that i like more.

And second is my autauga mkii
as small 32's go, i think this is one of the finest available, even if the company DID go out of business.

#1 Model 16 S&W 32hrmag 6" barrel
#2 Model 16 S&W 32hrmag 4" barrel
#3 Model 17 S&W 22lr 6" barrel

or reverse the order or put the middle on top.

Gosh nearly forgot my Browning hi-powers
:what:

but the again I love my firestar 43 single stack.:D

Ruger slabside?
OH HECK I LOVE EM ALL!:neener:

While I prefer the SA's from Ruger, I have to say my favorite pistol I own is my HK P7M8 hands downs. After all, I waited long enough to finally get one.
