Glad to help, as you put things back together mark the nipple drum so it's clocked properly. The one's i took apart had a pretty big hole drilled in them, so the ignition channel into the barrel is huge. Main thing is to make sure the nipple and hammer line up properly and the drum is tight when its reinstalled.

True!

That was one of the reasons it was so cheap to me years ago. The original clocking along with the particular nipple caused the hammer nose to shear a corner from each cap.

Looking MUCH better thanks to the tip on taking days and several dousings of hot water.

I did Dawn dish soap for a couple of rounds and now, three days of two boiling teapots each and then rotating an over-sized patch immediately afterwards.
