I got that e-mail too. I asked for:I just received an email from Ruger asking various questions in a survey. One of the questions was what 5 products would you like to see from Ruger.
I listed:
SR-45
Ruger American in 6.5x55
More single action hunter models... preferably a blued one for us thrifty folk. Or maybe a matte stainless model. Not crazy about the satin stainless finish.
I'm curious if anyone else completed this survey, and what you listed as "wants"? Or... if you haven't completed the survey, maybe just fill out your top 5 as if you had.
Do you really think they would sell? They didn't the first time through...I say the carbines in 9 and .40. They would sell like mad because the m1 carbine surplus is all but gone plus the cost of ammo. In addition these rifles are based on the 10/22 platform which is loved by many and reliable.
I would bet that Ruger will come out with a western lever action rifle/carbine.I added the pistol caliber semi-auto carbine too...and a western style lever action
A M1 Carbine in 5.56 is know as the Mini-14...Ok, here goes...
M1 Carbine in 5.56, an AR platform in 22 magnum and revolving 12 and 20 gauge shotguns.
They are already available through Brownell's I believe.Lots of great suggestions in this thread to make me broke. I have one huge one to add. A STRIPPED 10/22 RECEIVER. Please oh please Ruger.
Not made by Ruger unfortunately. I can buy a complete 10/22 for the price of an aftermarket receiver. I would hope Ruger could pump them out for about $50.They are already available through Brownell's I believe.
