Just comparing to the pictures at Midway, I would say you've been had. For what that costs, it should be finished nicely, not dropped off the roughing lathe into a box.Man is it rough. Very disappointing.
There is a BIG difference.Just comparing to the pictures at Midway,
I was just about to say the same thing. You're looks nothing like the one in the picture. Got a love Photoshop. There is a BIG difference.
how is the finish on yours? Is it as rough as the one Walkalong posted?I have one for .22 cal and it works great. It stands straight on the case without leaning over. That was the selling point for me. Powder doesn't spill. Just wish they were a little cheaper. But they'll last a lifetime.
Looks like a couple of yours, especially the .270/6.8mm, look like mine. I guess if it works it doesn't matter, might have to shake it a little.I use Saturn funnels when loading most of my calibers. They are well made but the main reason I use them is because the brass insert is caliber specific and recessed to enclose the case neck so that funnel stands upright on the case without being held. Which is why I bought them in every caliber available.View attachment 849422
Read my post again and you will understand why have a funnel for every caliber. Saturn funnel,as noted, is caliber specific with the brass bottom part recessed so that it does not just fit over the top of the case like ordinary funnels, but closely encloses all, or most all, of the full length of the neck. Thus the funnel is supported by the case so that it stands alone and upright without other support. This leaves both of your hands free to do whatever else they need to be doing, such as weighing and trickling powder charges, etc. Once you try the Saturn, of funnels of of similar design, you won't use anything else.fail to understand why there is a need for a funnel in every caliber??
