SCCY CPX 2 - Anyone have this?

Thank you to everyone who responded. SCCY is offering a $25 mail-in rebate right now, so that gun can actually be had for $125, which is insane. But the bulk of comments tells me that wouldn’t be a good purchase. What’s the point of owning if it just doesn’t perform - thanks again.

You already have a G2c. A better investment of that$125 would be ammo and range time with the Taurus.

My wife purchased one. I purchased her a Ruger LC9s Pro that had nothing but problems. She later went out on her own and purchased a SCCY with the safety... Haven't been to the range with it yet though.

Many people poopoo on Taurus and SCCY handguns while others swear by them. I wouldn't buy one as my primary, but I would for $125... Buy it, put some rounds through it, and see for yourself. While I don't have much experience with them, I do hear that their CS is fantastic... If you have any issues what's so ever, they'll fix or replace the gun no questions asked... If you find that you don't like it, it'll be easy to get your money back at that price... Just don't expect a champagne gun on a beer budget, and you'll be happy...

Are the SCCY mags made by Mec-Gar?
Mec-Gar makes the K-T mags.

It was a factory mag that came with the pistol, feed lips were shaped wrong, which resulted in failure to feed. Son contacted SCCY and just stated that one of the mags wouldn't feed, they didn't ask any questions and said two new mags were already shipped. He got the reply email the next day. SCCY may have a few issues, but their CS is the best I have ever dealt with. Maybe you do get a defective pistol or mag, with an unconditional, no questions asked, lifetime guarantee and replacement, can't beat it.
