This is what I have right now. Had a gift certificate from Amazon to use up so I bought these.
One is CO2 (22cal) and one is pump (.177cal)
It's hard for me to hit a chipmonk with these at 20 yds. But I still keep trying. They are accurate enough and I have made the feathers fly on a couple Grackles at that range. I would love to mount a scope on CO2 one. I would think the pump slamming would be hard to keep a scope in tune on the pump gun.
I have a barrel cleaning kit with the 2240 but I have read that you don't clean the barrels on air guns if you want them to be accurate so it will never get used.
It is fun though. There are supposed to be websites where I can buy upgrades for these two pistols, haven't found them yet.
I test shot these at the indoor pistol range that I use. The pump gun did pretty good after I found a pellet it liked.
These ballistic tips pellets shoot really well.
The guns are accurate, I just have to get them under control. The chipmunks and the squirrels are coming on my back patio and chewing holes in my seat cushions. At $30.00-$45.00 a cushion, this is getting expensive.
I will get them if I have to buy a rifle to do it with. I would love to have a side lever, fixed barrel rifle but I'm not paying $500.00 for one.
I have to start shopping or find a scope I can use on one of my pistols.
It's a lot of fun, and with primers the way they are, it helps to curb my shooting appetite.
