Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Hello 7mmsavage!
Interest about hydraulic press... Show, please, on action or some products...
Thanks!
My press is home made. It's made of old angle iron, that I got from our scrap bin at work. I welded the angle together to make c channels. I took a bunch of pics of the harbor freight unit and copied it the best I could. The jack is just an old 12 ton I had sitting around. It was a lot of work considering how inexpensive the HF ones are. But hey it was free and it's like reloading itself, reuse or repurpose everything right?

This is my (disorganized) bench in it's current state. The bench, itself is great. It's solid as a rock and bolted to a 2x4 using T-nuts. The 2x4 is screwed into the studs with a number of 4" screws. I was thinking about two full-length shelves, but that might be overkill: maybe 4' of shelves and space for a pegboard for tools, etc. I'm going to be perusing this thread for ideas.

The best accessory is the inexpensive height-adjustable stool.

Nope, I reload in an old barn and those damn feral pigeons got unbearable making noise and crapping on everything and roosting in the rafters outside.
So I got this owl decoy to scare them off, well too many of them trying to roost on the poor old owl and it fell outa the rafters and there it lay while the pigeons crapped on it.
I felt sorry for the ole thang and cleaned it up and brung it inside:)

My bench is just a HF bench I got for a really good deal. Open boxish for 103 out the door. Reason I got it was to reload & have a space to share with my wife. I knew I didn't want to reload in my garage. I made my reloader with the base to just bolt & unbolt easily using T nuts in the bottom of the top. Don't mind the falling part sofa, had I known it was blended leather I wouldn't have bought it.

I've been thinking on moving part of my reload room into the main living room in the house. I feel like such a recluse when I'm down there, and the GF doesn't like being in the little brass hole either.
Good use for the HF work bench. They are pretty darn nice. Any idea what the wood is? I was thinking cotton wood.

It's really really sad, but it's mobile.

Downgrade!

My press got bumped off of my main workbench a good ways back. I finally got the urge to reload again. (Probably because I am running low on ammo!)

So I threw together my first dedicated reloading bench, built to be small and temporary and just enough to get the job done.

I hate when people say stuff was "free" because they already had it. Well, let's say I didn't buy anything to build this, and I used a whole hodgepodge of leftover plywood scraps and scavenged wood, including a piece of a flimsy fence plank when I ran short of building material. I nearly cleaned out my entire scrap bin. I am estimating the way it is built, it could have been completed with about 1/2 to 3/4 of a sheet of 4x8' plywood, so let's say $30.00-$40.00 in materials. (Although if I had a whole sheet of plywood to start with, I would probably have used it all and made it stronger!) There's not a single 2"x anything in it. The thickest piece of wood is 3/4", down to the skinny legs. And yeah, all four legs are only glued onto the frame. I figured that would be strong enough without screws.

Does it work? Well, I made it TALL to match the height of my woodworking bench. So it predictably can sway quite a bit side-to-side on the skinny legs. But the mounting area is solid, due to some reinforcements I piecemealed together. And the back-forth stability is pretty decent. So it actually works quite well enough. It's oddly the most solid setup I have used so far (which isn't saying much)! Also, because it is my first dedicated reloading bench, I felt no qualms about cutting out an area for recessed-mounting of my trusty press. This is most likely going to be included in my future reloading benches!
